The Golden Alpaca Story
Fiber from the
roof of the world,
woven by hand
Baby alpaca fiber is harvested once a year from animals grazing high in the Peruvian Andes. At 4,000 meters above sea level, the extreme climate produces fiber of unmatched fineness — under 22 microns, finer than cashmere. We partner directly with 340 artisan families across the Andean region, paying above fair-trade prices and preserving centuries of weaving tradition.
